A little bit about Mercer Construction, including where we began, what drives us, and what lies ahead for our company.

Mercer's notable building projects include River View Pointe, a Neo-Traditional community reminiscent of times gone by, brings back a sense of community, home and family. Working together with Thomas Masterson, Jr., owner of TR Masterson Construction - a local builder in the Tri-Cities since 1976, we developed the vision to build a neighborhood unlike any other. Most subdivisions are designed by engineers. But Mercer Construction collaborated with Seattle-based Mithun land planners to design the neighborhood with the homebuyer in mind, creating a unique and modern way of living.

2009

In 2009, Mercer Construction built homes in the River View Pointe subdivision. Located in the heart of South Richland, River View Pointe offers both contemporary homes and homes adhering to the "Arts and Crafts" tradition while incorporating today's technologies. The community features a pedestrian-friendly setting with tree-lined streets, meandering sidewalks and plenty of open green space.

2008

In 2008, Mercer Construction won numerous awards for a River View Pointe (South Richland) home they built featured in the HBA Parade of Homes, including: Best Exterior, Best Kitchen, Best Landscaping, Best Overall, People's Choice Award, The Builders Award for "innovative use of new products," and the prestigious Best of Parade.

2007

Mercer Construction built several homes in River View Pointe throughout 2007. Views from these homes are majestic, spanning the Columbia River and Mid-Columbia. The community was designed for low-maintenance, affording homebuyers a carefree lifestyle.

2006

In 2006, Mercer Construction continued building in River View Pointe. A product of careful planning, River View Pointe offers a great deal of green space, sinuous sidewalks, and a variety of designs. This neo-traditional way of living is rapidly growing in popularity among metropolitan areas, but River View Pointe combines the best of both worlds by offering traditional-styled homes within the neighborhood.

2005

During 2005, Mercer Construction built in the River View Pointe community. One of the homes was included in the Tri-Cities Parade of Homes, winning "Best Landscape" and "Best Kitchen" that year. This carefree home style is typical of what you'll find within the River View Pointe neighborhood - a community designed for low maintenance and affordability.

2004

Curb appeal is everything. It's the first impression a homebuyer has of the house. With these homes, we located the garage at the back of the home - which offers low maintenance and creates a hub for family, and friends. This home introduces the revival of the Arts and Crafts style of architecture, and represents a way of life that is rooted in harmony and simplicity of design. In 2004, Mercer Construction continued to expand the River View Pointe neighborhood.

2003

2003 marked the beginning of River View Pointe. Paula Mercer Butterworth developed the land where this community now rests. This project consisted of progressive land development of 42 acres, equaling 157 lots, located in South Richland, Washington.
